Meet Our In-office Board-certified Anesthesiologist
Dr. Rees was born and raised in Arizona but has happily called Colorado home since 2006. She attended Arizona State University and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Justice Studies; she was accepted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society during her time at ASU. Upon graduation, Dr. Rees had a change of heart and decided that the medical field, not the legal field, was her calling.
Dr. Rebecca attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2012. After spending time in the operating room at The Children’s Hospital of Colorado during her pediatric dental rotations, Dr. Rees was further drawn to the rewarding sense of service that comes with providing anesthesia to dental patients who otherwise would not be able to complete their much-needed dental treatment. After spending one year as a general dentist, Dr. Rees attended and completed her anesthesia residency at NYU Langone/Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Rebecca serves the needs of patients in both Colorado and abroad; it is her philosophy that no patient, children and special needs populations in particular, should go without dental treatment out of fear or the inability to ‘make it through’ an appointment.
Dr. Rees and her family enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys conquering Colorado’s Fourteeners, trying new restaurants, and, most of all, traveling. She has a special place in her heart for dogs; she and her husband have rescued multiple four-legged friends and wish they could rescue even more! Dr. Rebecca looks forward to meeting you soon!
